Enjoy Japanese cuisine while taking in the spectacular view from the top floor of Solamachi.

Japanese restaurant "Kunimi" on the 31st floor of Solamachi

For lunch, we went to Kunimi, where you can enjoy traditional Edo cuisine such as crab dishes and duck sukiyaki. Located on the top floor of Tokyo Solamachi, the large windows offer a spectacular view of the cityscape as well as Mount Fuji and Tokyo Bay.

Arrived at Sumida Aquarium!

Head to Sumida Aquarium on the 5th and 6th floors of Tokyo Skytree Town®!

The entrance to Sumida Aquarium is on the 5th floor. Please use the aquarium elevator or escalator located outdoors on the 4th floor of the West Yard.

On holidays, there may be long lines to purchase admission tickets, so we recommend purchasing your online ticket in advance to avoid waiting in line!

In the Japanese space "Edo-rium",
Experience the colorful Japanese culture.

The aquarium is decorated with a fantastical Japanese feel based on the theme of "Edo," and displays about 15 varieties of goldfish, including Wakin, Ryukin, and Ranchu.
The aquarium allows you to view the goldfish from both the side and above, allowing you to appreciate the shape of their bodies and the beauty of their tail fins from various angles.
There will also be an exhibition themed around the unique colors of goldfish,
You can also enjoy exhibits that teach you about the history and culture of goldfish.

The open atrium that spans multiple floors is very open!
You'll be captivated by the adorableness of these lively penguins ♪

You can get a close-up look at the lively penguins in the two-story open-air pool-style tank.
On the 6th floor, you can observe the penguins swimming from above, and on the 5th floor, you can observe them not only from the side but also from below.
You can get a close look at the behavior and expressions of each bird.

Learn about the ocean around the Ogasawara, a World Natural Heritage Site.
In front of the large aquarium
Take a relaxing break.

The Ogasawara area is themed around the ocean of the Ogasawara , and is home to approximately 450 fish of 45 different species.
Looking at the deep, rich, and crystal clear blue aquarium, recreated with the cooperation of Ogasawara Village,
You can feel the strong connection between the blessings of water and the lives of animals. There are also many benches around the aquarium, so you can sit and relax in the Ogasawara sea.

Relaxing snack time at the Penguin Café.

If you're feeling a little hungry, take a break at the Penguin Café. They have a variety of cute animals-themed dishes, such as the "Long! Spotted garden eel Bread" and "penguins Rice Balls," that you'll feel almost too bad to eat.

"Japan Souvenir" East Yard 4th floor

"Japan Souvenir" is themed around merchant houses found in the town of Edo.
This shopping zone is somehow nostalgic yet new, with a wide variety of shops. Find your favorite item that embodies the unique Japanese aesthetic sense and traditional techniques.
