The atmosphere changes from 6pm in the evening, and you can enjoy the tranquil Blue Night Aquarium. -

Head to Sumida Aquarium on the 5th and 6th floors of Tokyo Skytree Town®!
The entrance to Sumida Aquarium is on the 5th floor. Please use the aquarium elevator or escalator located outdoors on the 4th floor of the West Yard.
On holidays, there may be long lines to purchase admission tickets, so we recommend purchasing your online ticket in advance to avoid waiting in line!

The lighting and aquariums in the building
A performance only available at night.
The soft, calming light creates a quiet atmosphere that is different from daytime.
The lights in the aquarium slowly dim in the evening, and from 6pm it turns into the Blue Night Aquarium, with a calming lighting effect that makes you feel like you're in the ocean at night.
Come and see the different expressions of the animals at night than they do during the day.

You can see rare sights that can only be seen at an aquarium at night, such as penguins sleeping huddled together and fur seals sleeping in unique positions on rocks!

You can take impressive photos from the base of the Skytree.
There are three types of lighting: "Iki," "Miyabi," and "Nobori," as well as special lighting available for a limited time. Be sure to check the official website for details.
