    Get up a little early and head to Tokyo Skytree® during your free time.
    First, let's look at the ocean in the sky from the observation deck.

    Have lunch a little early. Tokyo Solamachi has plenty of restaurants that kids will love.
    Once you've filled your stomach, head to Sumida Aquarium!

  3. POINT 3

    At Sumida Aquarium, you can get up close and personal with the animals. Not only can you see the adorable expressions of the penguins, but you can also get a close look at the behind-the-scenes aspects of animal care, such as preparing food for the animals.

Experience the 360-degree sky view from the observation deck.

Head to Tokyo Skytree first during the less crowded morning hours (open from 10am on weekdays)! For smoother entry, we recommend purchasing a ticket with a designated date and time in advance. Discounted combination tickets that include the Sumida Aquarium are also available.

Once you reach the observation deck, enjoy the view of Tokyo with your children.

If it's your child's birthday month, you can receive a special birthday service. On greeting days, Sorakara-chan will celebrate with you on the spot, so don't miss it!

Kirby Cafe TOKYO, East Yard, 4th floor

This character cafe is themed around the popular game series "Kirby of the Stars." There are lots of cute Kirby-themed menu items that will delight adults too! It's a very popular cafe, so be sure to check the website and make a reservation in advance.
When it gets busy, there is a take-out menu available, so having lunch inside Sumida Aquarium might be a good idea (you can bring your own food and drinks inside the aquarium!).

Arrived at Sumida Aquarium!

Head to Sumida Aquarium on the 5th and 6th floors of Tokyo Skytree Town!

The entrance to Sumida Aquarium is on the 5th floor. Please use the aquarium elevator or escalator located outdoors on the 4th floor of the West Yard.

On holidays, there may be long lines to purchase admission tickets, so we recommend purchasing your online ticket in advance to avoid waiting in line!

Sumida's popular
"Hello" from Spotted garden eel friends.

A large number of Spotted garden eel will welcome you in the " Coral Reefs " aquarium area on the 6th floor.

Enjoy the adorable creatures to your heart's content in this huge aquarium that can be viewed from 360 degrees.

From the free and easy appearance of penguins,

One of the most eye-catching features of the museum is the 350-ton pool-type aquarium where Magellanic penguins live.

You can observe the behavior and expressions of each penguins up close.

A look behind the scenes at animal husbandry work!
With an Aqua Base,
Learn knowledge in a fun way.

The Aqua Base consists of two areas: the " Kitchen " where food for the animals is prepared, and the " Labo " where the jellyfish are raised.

Through conversations with the animal care staff, you can learn detailed information about the animals that you would not normally be able to learn about. This is an educational area that stimulates the intellectual curiosity of not only children but also adults.

Experience the Bonin Blue of the Ogasawara, a World Heritage Site.

The Ogasawara Sea Life spreads out like a movie screen, and a wide variety of fish that live in the waters of the Ogasawara swim leisurely about.

Recreated with the cooperation of Ogasawara Village, the Bonin Blue in the aquarium is a rich, deep, and crystal clear blue that gives you a real sense of the relationship between the blessings of water and the lives of animals.

"Even in Tokyo, there is such a beautiful sea." Experience the underwater world of the Ogasawara, a World Heritage Site located approximately 1,000 km away, with your children.

Like Sumida Aquarium, this facility is located on the 5th floor of Tokyo Solamachi. Its theme is a new "playground" where people of all ages can gather and experience a variety of activities while feeling close to the sky.
