The entrance to Sumida Aquarium is on the 5th floor. Please use the aquarium elevator or escalator located outdoors on the 4th floor of the West Yard.
On holidays, there may be long lines to purchase admission tickets, so we recommend purchasing your online ticket in advance to avoid waiting in line!

jellyfish space.
The new aquarium, the "Big Schale," houses approximately 500 Moon jelly floating in an oval basin-shaped tank with a long diameter of 7 meters. Because the tank is not visible through acrylic, you can carefully observe the delicate bodies and organs of the jellyfish.
Standing on the glass-floored deck that extends over the aquarium tank, you can enjoy a mystical immersive experience, as if you were standing on the surface of the ocean with jellyfish floating in it.

The Magellanic penguins at Sumida Aquarium are well known for the Sumida penguins Relationship Chart.
The indoor open-air pool aquarium holds approximately 350 tons of water and has a two-story atrium exhibition space, where you can see the swimming penguins from above on the sixth floor and from the side as well as below on the fifth floor.

The "Edo-rium" and "Mangekyo Tunnnel" are spectacular!
The Edo-rium exhibition zone is decorated with goldfish lanterns and goldfish floats, and is an area about 100 meters long. 15 different types of goldfish are always there to welcome you.
