Ogasawara animals Ray

Experience Programs

In the Ogasawara, there is a custom of giving leis to people leaving the island as a way of saying "have a safe trip," and those who receive the leis throw them into the sea from their departing ships.

There's a legend that if the lei you throw washes ashore on the island again, it means you'll be able to return to Ogasawara. This workshop conveys this warm and gentle culture unique to Ogasawara through the animals it.
