"10 Years of Happy News Exhibition" held!

Sumida Aquarium is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
To commemorate this, we will be holding the "10 Years of Happy News Exhibition."

From the opening in 2012 to the present, we first conducted a survey of all staff to extract various events that have occurred over the past 10 years. From these, we selected many happy news stories, big and small, related to the animals and staff, and have exhibited them in various places within the facility.

Each piece of news is very small, but it is undoubtedly part of the history that makes up this aquarium. We hope that by experiencing this happy news, visitors will feel closer to Sumida Aquarium and that it will also give them an opportunity to reflect on their own small happy news.

"10th Anniversary! Memory Catcher Festival"

We will be releasing a huge amount of items filled with memories from the past 10 years since the store opened in a crane game. Some people may think, "I don't need this!", but most of them are rare items that can only be obtained here.

This event will be held for a limited time only, from March 31st to April 28th. Please give it a try!

Prizes can be won by playing the crane game installed in the Sumida Aquarium shop and picking up a capsule with a voucher. Even capsules without a voucher contain original badges with images of the animals living at Sumida Aquarium, so be sure to give it a try. (The offer will end once all the prizes have been sold.)
