Adorable Penguins swimming energetically in the water

Magellanic Penguins live in this indoor, open-air Penguins pool, which holds approximately 350 tons of water.

The exhibition space has a two-story atrium, and visitors can see the Penguins swimming from above on the sixth floor, and from below as well as from the side on the fifth floor.

Also, by sharing the same space as the Penguins rather than through the tank, you can observe the behavior and expressions of each Penguins up close. Sometimes, you may even be hit by splashes of water from the swimming Penguins!

The lighting uses environmentally friendly LEDs, and also creates a sense of the changing time of day.
During the day, you can see the Penguins swimming energetically under lighting that is as bright as natural light, and at night, you can see the Penguins sleeping under dim lighting.
