A fantastical world of jellyfish where you can feel the rhythm of life

The space where numerous jellyfish float in tanks of various sizes invites the viewer from the "ordinary" to a "world of the extraordinary."The jellyfish, which are said to have remained unchanged for hundreds of millions of years, are beautiful and fantastical, and the slowly changing lighting creates a sense of timelessness.

You can observe jellyfish directly from above!

Just like looking down at jellyfish floating in the ocean, you can observe their strange, jellyfish-like texture and delicate body organs directly, without looking through acrylic.

Only at Sumida Aquarium can you see the water surface swaying due to the movements of the jellyfish.

A glass deck for a mystical and immersive experience

The glass-floored deck that hangs over the tank offers a mystical immersive experience, as if you were standing on the surface of the ocean with jellyfish floating in it.
