Swim lively Fur Seals

The open-type Fur Seals seal pool is home to South American fur seal.
You can observe the Fur Seals from above, relaxing on land and swimming and turning smoothly in the water. By sharing the same space as the Fur Seals rather than through an aquarium, you can get a close-up look at the lively Fur Seals swimming.

Fur Seal Tunnel

This tunnel allows you to peer down into the pool where the Fur Seals live, allowing you to enjoy the sight of the Fur Seals swimming gracefully in the sparkling water from various angles.

Important Notice

  • [Temporary Closure of the fur seals Exhibit Due to Renovation Work]

    Due to renovation work in the fur seals area, the fur seals exhibit will be closed from October 18th (Sun) to October 29th (Thu). In addition, to prepare for the closure, the number of fur seals on display will be gradually reduced starting from October 6th (Tue). *The schedule may change depending on the progress of the construction and the condition of the animals.

  • [Regarding changes to museum shop opening hours]

    Due to inventory work, the museum shop will close at 7 PM on Wednesday, October 14th.

  • [Regarding shortened business hours]

    Due to a private event, the closing time will be changed as follows.
    The museum will close at 6:00 PM on Friday, November 13th (last entry at 5:00 PM).
    Thursday, November 19th: Closing time 18:30 (Last entry 17:30)
    Closed at 17:00 on Monday, November 30th (last entry 16:00)
